Pool House Lodge is thoughtfully designed for guests with mobility needs. Features include: step-free ramp access to the main and lower levels, one accessible parking space at the front, master bedroom with a 36-inch doorway and roll-in shower, grab bars at toilets, a transfer shower on the lower level, lower bunks with overhead grab bars in the Pirate Bunk Room, and wheelchair-friendly access to decks and porches on the main and lower levels, the indoor pool room, and the outdoor fire pit area. Note: the pool itself does not have a lift.

What is the check-in and check-out time at Pool House Lodge?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM EST. Check-out is at 10:00 AM EST. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for $50 per hour, subject to availability — contact us to request.
What is the cancellation policy?
97% refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. 47% refund if cancelled 14–29 days before arrival. No refund for cancellations less than 14 days before arrival. A 48-hour free cancellation window applies only if arrival is at least 14 days away at the time of booking. The 3% credit card processing fee is non-refundable. Travel insurance is recommended.
Does Pool House Lodge allow pets?
No. Pool House Lodge is a pet-free property.
Can we have a party or event at Pool House Lodge?
Pool House Lodge welcomes group gatherings for booked guests. Organized events or parties beyond the stated guest count require prior written approval. Maximum occupancy is 20 guests at all times.
Is smoking allowed at Pool House Lodge?
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the lodge. A designated outdoor smoking area with 2 chairs and a cigarette butt collector is located in the parking area. Smoking is not permitted during an active burn ban.
Can I work remotely from Pool House Lodge?
Yes. There is a dedicated work desk in the Owner's Suite on the main floor. Wi-Fi is Spectrum Fiber Optic with speeds up to 1 Gbps.
Does Pool House Lodge provide firewood?
Firewood is not provided, but is available for purchase from the neighbor directly across the street, or at Campbell's Market (5.0 miles, 8 min).
Does Pool House Lodge provide a baby crib or high chair?
They are not supplied. You are welcome to bring your own crib or high chair.
Is there a dining table that seats all 20 guests?
The island and dining table combined seat up to 14 guests. A 6-foot folding table is available in the Owner's bedroom closet, and additional chairs are on the lower-level patio for extra seating.
Is there an outdoor grill at Pool House Lodge?
Yes. There is one propane outdoor grill on the lower-level patio, with a backup propane tank included.
Does Pool House Lodge decorate for Christmas?
Yes! Decorations go up mid-to-late November and stay through the end of January. Hot chocolate is also provided during the holiday season.
Who built Pool House Lodge?
Pool House Lodge was built by Hochstetler Log Homes and Cedar Creek Cabin LLC — the same two Amish companies that built the log portion of the Hocking Hills State Lodge. The property was designed by the owners in collaboration with Hochstetler Log Homes' architect.
